Udinese’s series of friendlies ended with a 0-1 defeat against Trabzonspor in Velden.

Coach Kosta Runjaic chose Thomas Kristensen and Oumar Solet, together with Matteo Palma in defence in the starting line-up. Lennon Miller started in midfield alongside Sandi Lovric, while Vakoun Bayo, Adam Buksa and Idrissa Gueye were the attacking trio.
THE MATCH
It was a difficult match for Udinese from the very start, as the team conceded a goal after just four minutes. Aral Simsir and Ernest Muci crafted a good opening from the left, with Muci taking a good right-footed shot from an angled position and scoring.
Udinese fought back in the 22nd minute with a header by Buksa, which was however denied by Andre Onana.
Trabzonspor came close to doubling their lead, with Ruslan Malinovskyi’s right-footed effort from the edge of the box striking the far post.
In the 24th minute, Udinese nearly equalised, as Gueye took a shot from 20 metres, but Onana made a great save, with the first half ending 1-0 for the Turkish side.
