Udinese ended their run of friendly matches in Austria with a 2-1 triumph over Cypriot side Pafos.

Pafos were quick out of the starting blocks, threatening Udinese from early on. It wasn't long before they took the lead, opening the scoring after 18 minutes through Jairo. However an Udinese who were drained after a gruelling training camp still managed to hold firm and saw out the rest of the half without succumbing to the Cypriots' attacks.

Pafos completely changed their side for the second half and by and large managed to contain Udinese. The Italians' pressure told though, and with only two minutes left on the clock Lazar Samardzic fired home the equaliser. A shellshocked and vulnerable Pafos then conceded a second soon after with Isaac Success grabbing a goal, leaving Udinese to come away with the spoils.
