Udinese extended their unbeaten run at Bluenergy Stadium to three games with a draw against Pisa. Having taken four points off Napoli and Lazio in their previous two home matches, they had to settle for a share of the spoils after Pisa found a second-half leveller and Arthur Atta's potential late winner came off the post.
Pisa took the lead with a fine 13th-minute strike by Matteo Tramoni but Udinese quickly responded and restored parity when Christian Kabasele rose highest to head home from a corner.
Kosta Runjaic's men kept pressing forward and got their reward when Jurgen Ekkelenkamp was felled in the box by Mehdi Leris. Keinan Davis stepped up and coolly converted from 12 yards to give Udinese the lead.
The second half was played at a slower tempo until the visitors somewhat unexpectedly found an equaliser, Henrik Meister poking home the loose ball after Maduka Okoye had kept out Gabriele Piccinini's header.
Meister almost got a second soon after, only for Okoye to turn his rasping drive onto the post, while the last two chances fell to Udinese. Oumar Solet's clever through ball found Atta, whose finish came off the foot of the upright, then Nicola Bertola picked out Davis but the striker could only lift the ball over the bar.
The draw takes Udinese up to 26 points in ninth place awaiting results elsewhere.
