Udinese beat Slovenian side NK Primorje 6-2 in a friendly match played behind closed doors at the training ground on Thursday.
Besides the ten players away on international duty, also not involved were Alessandro Zanoli, Christian Kabasele and Oumar Solet, who trained separately, and Lennon Miller and Thomas Kristensen, who are continuing with their recovery. Six Primavera players were drafted in to make up the numbers.
Keinan Davis opened the scoring early doors when he turned Kingsley Ehizibue's low cross from the right into an open net.
Within a minute, Arthur Atta made it 2-0, heading in the loose ball after a save from the visiting goalkeeper.
In the second half, Jurgen Ekkelenkamp netted a brace: a fine curling finish from the edge of the box and a close-range tap-in.
Idrissa Gueye and Nicolo Bertola also got on the score sheet, both from close range courtesy of deliveries from the left.
With the score at 4-0, Matic Zavnik pulled one back for Primorje with a superb strike into the top corner, then Haris Kadric converted a late penalty to make it 6-2.
