Lazar Samardzic, who was the star of the show, opened the scoring with fewer than two minutes on the clock with a delightful outside-of-the-foot finish from the edge of the area. It was then his whipped free-kick that Nehuen Perez rose to head home on 27 minutes. Eight minutes later, Isaac Success stole in behind the Cremonese back line to add a third.
