Tomorrow Udinese will face Pisa for the eighth time in Serie A; they have never lost to the Tuscan team, as they hold a record of two wins and five draws. Their latest match was last September, with Udinese winning 1-0 away thanks to a goal by Iker Bravo, while their latest Serie A match in Udine was back in October 1985, which ended 1-1 with the goal for Udinese scored by the club’s current Head of Scouting, Andrea Carnevale. Apart from that game, Udinese have collected one win and another draw against Pisa at home, and in both matches the two teams scored goals.
Pisa have not won a Serie A game since 7 November, and have not won a Serie A game away since March 1991. However, the Tuscans have drawn in six out of their nine away matches this season, and have scored 12 out of their 13 goals so far away. If Udinese win, it will be the second time they secure two consecutive victories this season, after winning against Inter and Pisa at the start of the season. Udinese have also remained unbeaten over the past nine home matches against a newly promoted team.

Nicolo Zaniolo is just one goal away from reaching his personal record in Serie A (six goals), which he set in the 2019/20 season. Keinan Davis and Sandi Lovric are both one goal away from reaching double digits at Udinese. Oumar Solet leads the league in a specific category: alongside Kenan Yildiz he is the Serie A player with the most progressive carries (180). Three Udinese players could set an important appearance record against Pisa: 50 in Serie A for Udinese for Jurgen Ekkelenkamp and Keinan Davis and 100 for Kingsley Ehizibue. Three former Udinese players currently play for Pisa: Juan Cuadrado, 24 appearances for Udinese from 2009 to 2011 (currently injured, however), and goalkeepers Simone Scuffet, who rose through the ranks of the Udinese Academy and made 49 appearances from 2013 to 2021, and Nicolas, who made five appearances from 2018 to 2021. There is only one former Pisa player now at Udinese: Daniele Padelli, who made eight appearances for Pisa in the 2007/08 season.
