Udinese Calcio is delighted to announce that Gabriele Cioffi has been appointed the new first-team coach, having put pen to paper on a deal that runs until 30 June 2024 with an option for a one-year extension.
Cioffi is returning to the Udinese dugout, having led the side during the 2021/22 season, racking up 31 points in 22 games.
Cioffi’s coaching staff will be made up of assistant Cristiano Bacci and match analyst Andrea Aliboni.
The coach and his staff will be straight into action as they will lead training on Wednesday afternoon.
The coach is set to be introduced to the press at 11:30 CEST on Thursday 26 October at the press room at Bluenergy Stadium.
