Tolgay Arslan has spoken about his recent injury woes and what he likes about life at the club and in Udine in an interview with Udinese TV.

This week's guest on Udinese Tonight spent most of pre-season on the sidelines after twisting an ankle in July he says he's now ready for action.

“I'm finally training with the team again,” the32-year-old began. “It was horrible while I was out injured but it's part and parcel of the game. I feel good now and I'll be available for selection against Salernitana.

“We did lots of good things in Milan but there are other areas we need to work on. It was our first match with the new gaffer. Now we have an important game against Salernitana and we have to win it."

Tolgay then spoke about the team spirit in the camp before revealing his favourite local fare.

“We're not distracted by the transfer market but if anyone does leave, they'll be replaced by someone else. There's a great atmosphere here, which makes it easy for any new signings to settle in.

“There are lots of Friuli specialties I like but my favourites are frico and San Daniele ham.

“I'm really happy in Udine. I'm at a great club with a great coach and sporting director

“Throughout my career I'd always played as a deep-lying playmaker then last season I was used as a box-to-box midfielder. I'm happy wherever the boss wants me.”
