Udinese lost their last away game 2-1 in Milan to Inter, but in their last seven matches they have never had the same result twice in a row. Additionally, they have scored in each of their last five games and this season they have won both of their games played on a Friday against Cagliari and Lecce.

The French defender is the fourth player with the most dribbles completed in 2025 in the Italian top flight (19), after Kenan Yildiz, Nico Paz and another Udinese player, Florian Thauvin, who has reached 20. Should he take to the field against Genoa then Martin Payero would reach the milestone of 50 Serie A appearances, all for Udinese.
