
15 Udinese players have been called up by their respective national teams for this international break.
In the UEFA World Cup qualifiers Jesper Karlstrom and Sandi Lovric will face off against each other as Slovenia take on Sweden on 5 September. They will then pit their wits against Switzerland (Karlstrom) and Kosovo (Lovric) on 8 September. Jakub Piotrowski and Adam Buksa will be in action for Poland on 4 September against the Netherlands and on 7 September against Finland. Saba Goglichidze and his Georgia side will face Turkey on 4 September and Bulgaria on 7 September, and Lennon Miller has been called up to Scotland's squad for their matches against Denmark on 5 September and Belarus on 8 September. Razvan Sava will be featuring for Romania in a friendly against Canada on 5 September, as well as in a World Cup qualifier against Cyprus on 9 September.
Meanwhile, Vakoun Bayo and his Ivory Coast team are also in World Cup qualifying action, facing Burundi on 5 September and Gabon on 9 September, as well as Jordan Zemura's Zimbabwe, who will lock horns with Benin and Rwanda on the same dates.
As for the younsters, David Pejicic will be representing Slovenia U19 in a tournament that also features his contemporaries from Scotland (3 September), Poland (6 September) and the Faroe Islands (8 September). Iker Bravo is part of the Spain U21's squad for their qualifiers for the next European Championships against Cyprus (5 September) and Kosovo (9 September). Abdoulaye Camara will face Saudi Arabia on 3 September, Portugal on 5 September and Japan on 7 September with France’s U18s in the Tournoi de Limoges. Matteo Palma has been called up by Germany U17s for their match against Austria on 5 September, Cristiano De Paoli will play for Italy U18s in their matches against South Korea (3 September), United Arab Emirates (6 September) and Croatia (9 September) and finally Alessandro Nunziante is in the Italy U20’s squad for their two friendlies against England (5 September) and Germany (7 September) ahead of the U-20 World Cup.
