Nicolo Bertola and Vakoun Bayo were unveiled to the media in Lienz on Thursday.
Here's what our first two summer signings had to say...
Nicolo Bertola
“Choosing Udinese is a big responsibility because this is a club with a long tradition and so many top-class players have come through here. I hope to be able to repay the faith shown in me.
“So far in my short career I've played more often in a back three but I think I can adapt to playing in a four. I've settled in really well. Having players of other nationalities in the squad can help me learn new languages.
“I've nearly recovered from my [rectus femoris] injury. I'll soon be out on the pitch and able to help the team.
“I hope to be up the level required in Serie A. I know it's very intense and just by looking at training I can see how high the level is. I want to repay the club for believing in me.
“I like to get on the ball and carry it out of defence or play it forward. I need to be more aggressive and improve in the air.
“Everyone dreams of playing for Italy. I'm sure Udinese is the right choice for me and I hope to one day pull on the Azzurri jersey. I think I have a lot to offer the team and I still have a lot of potential.
“[Jaka] Bijol was a defensive pillar and a leader. This year we have [Oumar] Solet, who I also see as a leader and I'll try to learn from him and the others who can teach me a lot."
Vakoun Bayo
“I'm delighted to have joined this great club. Being here gives me a big sense of responsibility. I want to show my ability, what I can do for the team and I want to score goals. I'm a striker so I'll always try to score if I get the chance. Sometimes you fail but my aim is to score as many goals as possible for the team.
“I'm good at scoring headers but that's not all I can do. I have lots of other qualities and I'm going to show them on the pitch. I know [Lorenzo] Lucca is excellent in the air. [Keinan] Davis is very skilful and that's an area where I think I'm good too. I think we can play together, as we did at Watford.
“The game is different in England. In Italy there's a lot more tactical work and I'm working hard to improve and make sure I'm ready for it.
“What I can bring from England is my running, intensity and getting into spaces, so more transitional play.
“My idol is Didier Drogba. He's Ivorian like me and he's my role model.”
