After Udinese battled their way to 1-0 win at Lecce, man-of-the-match Jaka Bijol and his defensive partner Oumar Solet were interviewed pitchside.

Bijol: "We have 36 points now and we want to keep going. The penalty incident is one of those things that shouldn't happen. We apologise to our fans. [Lorenzo] Lucca is a striker so it's understandable that he always wants to score. We'll move forward together and keep picking up points. I'm sure Lucca will score lots more goals.

“We're on the right track. We've had some good performances and we must keep it up. We shouldn't just be looking at the league table. We want to play well – that's ultimately what gets you points. We're relaxed now and we're playing for ourselves – to be happy.”

Solet: "It was important to go out there and be really focused on getting the three points today. We're very ambitious. We're giving it everything we have and we'll see where it takes us.

“Bijol had a great game. We all played well and helped each other out. His victory is also my victory.”
