Iker Bravo and Alessandro Nunziante have qualified for the last 16 of the U-20 World Cup with Spain and Italy, respectively.
The striker scored the only goal of the game – his second of the tournament – as Spain beat Brazil 1-0, while the Azzurri were beaten 1-0 by Argentina but still finished second in their group.
Both players played the full 90 minutes.
Spain go through as one of the best third-placed teams and must wait to find out their next opponents. Italy will take on the winners of Group E (USA, France, South Africa, New Caledonia) on 9 October.
