Daniele Padelli spoke about Udinese's recent form and future prospects and praised his team-mates when he was hosted on Udinese Tonight on Monday.

“First of all I want to congratulate the Primavera team because they've taken Udinese back where the club belongs, in the Primavera 1 league.

“Against Salernitana we had the opportunity to switch our sights to a new target for the end of the season, but the odd defeat can happen when you're a developing team.

“However, we responded to that with a good performance against Bologna. We have lots of talented young players who are improving by the day and we're getting ourselves back on track.

“Perhaps we've lacked a bit of self-belief at times but that comes with time and knowledge. There are lots of youngsters who need time before the team can really gel. This squad has so much quality and unexpressed potential.

“[Gerard] Deulofeu is a smashing lad and a consummate professional. Considering the things he does on the pitch he might expect him to be a bit full of himself but his attitude is always exemplary.

“I call [Isaac] Success “Tyson” because with the incredible strength and power he has it looks like he's playing against kids. I've rarely seen a player with his physical attributes.

“[Destiny] Udogie is in fine form too and I'm sure he'll end up playing for Italy.

"[Marco] Silvestri deserves to be in the Italy squad now because there aren't many keepers as consistent and as reliable as he is. He never makes mistakes. His call-up should be par for the course. He works hard every day and deserves it. We have an excellent relationship.

“I try to give my best in training to make sure I'm ready whenever needed. I'm here to help the club and the younger lads with the experience I can bring to the dressing room.

“Our goal for our last few games is to give 100% and continue on this path we're on to lay the foundations for next season.

“We have two big matches coming up against Fiorentina and Inter. The Inter game especially will be huge as they fighting for the title and the whole world will be watching.

“We want to thank our fans. It's been amazing having them back after two years. There's a great vibe and they really get behind us.”
