Five Udinese players turned out for their national teams on Thursday.

Jordan Zemura impressed on the left wing for Zimbabwe as they drew 2-2 with Benin in a 2026 World Cup qualifier. He stayed on the pitch the whole game and provided both assists.

Jaka Bijol and Sandi Lovric played 90 minutes (with the latter subbed off in stoppage time) in Slovenia's 0-0 draw with Slovakia in the first-leg of their Nations League play-off.

Lorenzo Lucca came on in the 83rd minute of Italy's 2-1 defeat to Germany in the Nations League quarter-finals but was unable to help the Azzurri find an equaliser.

Thomas Kristensen meanwhile played at centre-back for Denmark U21s in their 3-3 friendly draw with Poland.
