Bijol and Lovric's Slovenia beat Bosnia, Karlstrom's Sweden defeats Algeria, Sanchez's Chile fall to defeat
Yesterday evening four Udinese players were in action for their national teams.
Jaka Bijol and Sandi Lovric both started Slovenia’s 2-1 friendly win against Bosnia-Herzegovina. The defender played the entire match while the midfielder came off in the 66th minute.
Jesper Karlstrom’s Sweden also won, with the Udinese player coming on after 53 minutes in the friendly between his country and Algeria, which ended 4-3.
Alexis Sanchez played the entire match for Chile in their 2026 World Cup qualifier against Bolivia, but he was unable to help his team avoid a 2-0 defeat. That result means that his country will miss out on the 2026 World Cup.
