International call-ups

Lucca with Italy again, Sanchez gets Chile recall after nine months

Nine Udinese players have been called up by their national teams for international matches over the coming ten days. 
 
2026 World Cup qualifying matches are in store for Jordan Zemura with Zimbabwe (Benin on 20 March and Nigeria on 25 March), Hassane Kamara with Ivory Coast (Burundi on 21 March and Gambia on 24 March) and Alexis Sanchez with Chile (Paraguay on 21 March and Ecuador on 26 March). 
 
Lorenzo Lucca is in the Italy squad for their Nations League quarter-final tie with Germany (20 and 23 March). 
 
Sandi Lovric and Jaka Bijol's Slovenia face a two-legged Nations League play-off against Slovakia (20 and 23 March) to decide which team remains in League B. 
 
Jesper Karlstrom's Sweden have two friendlies lined up: Luxembourg on 22 March and Northern Ireland on 25 March. 
 
Thomas Kristensen will be part of the Denmark U21 squad for friendly matches with Poland (20 March) and Italy (24 March). 
 
Kristensen could face off against Udinese team-mate Simone Pafundi, who has been called up by Italy for that Denmark match and the one against the Netherlands on 21 March.
