Hassane Kamara when he appeared as this week's on Udinese Tonight. He analysed Sunday's game against Inter and discussed his relationship with his team-mates, the differences between Italy. France and England, and the team's targets for the end of the season.

He began with the team's performance at San Siro:

“As you all saw, we could have scored a second goal at the end but didn't quite manage it. You have to turn up in both halves because it's impossible to win if you only play well in one against great teams like Inter. The good thing is we managed to hold our own against a big club. Now we need to focus on getting back to winning ways because we've gone two games without a win. We haven't let up, though. Maybe we were a little fearful against Inter but we gave it our all to get back in it. We were a little tense because playing at San Siro always has a bit of an effect on you but I can assure you we haven't let up.

“Our target is 50 points. We have to work hard and we have some tough matches coming up but I think that if we play the way we often have recently it will go well for us.”

Kamara revealed that the spark in Milan was provided by a few choice words from Kosta Runjaic during the interval.

“The gaffer told us we'd played badly and said we had to go back out and start the second half strong we because if we scored a goal we would open the game up again.”

Before joining Udinese, Hassane spent time in France and England, taking his cats Tipsy and Simba with him wherever he has gone. What differences has he noticed between the three countries?

“In Italy every team is difficult to play against. They're all very well organised tactically. In England the game is played at a very high tempo and there are more world-class players. The French league is less difficult that the Italian league but in terms of individual talent it's about the same.”

Which country has the best cuisine?

“In Italy the food is good wherever you go but in France if you go to a Michelin-star restaurant it's out of this world.”

As for the food and people of Friuli: “I've tried frico and I liked it. I can feel the warmth of the people and the results have helped this year too. I like hearing the fans' chants when we play at home.”

What does Kamara expect from the season run-in?

“I'll start by giving you two names: [Rui] Modesto and [Simone] Pafundi. They're excellent in training. They have a great attitude and I think they can achieve big things.

“I hope we can finish the season strong. We mustn't think about the 50 points, just take each game as it comes. We won't ease up and then we'll take stock at the end. Sometimes transfer talk can be distracting but I don't think it will bother us.

“On a personal level I want to keep raising my game and individual goals help to grow the team. We want to keep proving ourselves on the pitch.”
