Thomas Kristensen said he was caught between his personal satisfaction and the disappointment of not winning after Udinese's 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona.
"I'm delighted with my start to the season on a personal level but it's a shame we couldn't get three points – that was our target," he explained. "However, it's good that we picked up one at least to get off the mark.
“It's always tough to fashion openings against a side that sits so deep. It's still the start of the season. We're making progress and we'll work to do even better. There's a strong team spirit in the camp and we all get on well. I have a feeling we're going to have a good season but we must work hard for it.
“I like the idea of playing in the centre of defence – I feel strong there. Today I scored my first headed goal and it means a lot to me. It would be great to score another at San Siro next week. My personal goal is to stay fit and play as many games as possible.”
