Sandi Lovric praised Udinese's growth and maturity in the wake of Friday's 1-0 success at Lecce.
Here's what he had to say after the final whistle at the Stadio Via del Mare:
"It was really tough out there today, although it's never easy in Lecce. The game was pretty scrappy but I'm happy for the team. It was a mature victory.
“We're improved in recent weeks and we're pleased. We've picked up a lot of points in our last few games. We have to keep playing with this same desire.”
On Lorenzo Lucca's substitution following his disagreement with Florian Thauvin over penalty duties: “Those are decisions for the coach. That's what he decided and we accept it. We don't want to make a big deal of it. We must stick together. We'll talk about it and look ahead to the next one.”
