After the helping Udinese pick up a point away to Lazio, man of the match Florian Thauvin and goalkeeper Maduka Okoye – making his return to the team after an injury layoff – shared their thoughts on the game.
Okoye: "I'm really happy today, both for myself and for the team. We're all delighted and we want to keep going like this. It was difficult for me sitting on the sidelines but I've come back into a team that's improved in recent months. [Daniele] Padelli has helped me lots and so has everyone. I'm very grateful. He's a great goalkeeper and a great person.”
Thauvin: "I feel I'm back to my best now. I've been working hard every day to get back to this level but you can't perform without the team. We're having a great season and I'm pleased for Maduka. He came back in today and produced a top performance.
“I'm happy for the team as well. This is a good point we've earned today. We have to keep it up. We've reached our target, which was to remain in Serie A, and now we can just take each game as it comes. We can achieve big things. It's our best season in 12 years and we want to see how far we can go.”
