Udine has officially inaugurated the 31st edition of Friuli Doc, the largest food and wine event in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The inauguration took place on 11 September in Piazza Liberta and was attended by many civil and military authorities, as well as representatives of the many businesses and political entities of Udine and the Region. Four guests were there to inaugurate the event. Each of them has successfully promoted Udine and the Friuli Venezia Giulia region across regional and national borders in their respective field: gymnast Tara Dragas, founder of the Associazione del Pignolo del FVG Ben Little, singer Tish and Udinese goalkeeper Daniele Padelli.
Starting from Friday, 12 September, Udinese Calcio will be among the local sporting organisations participating in the Villaggio dello Sport event in Piazza Primo Maggio, with activities for children, a season ticket campaign stand and various initiatives dedicated to fans, including Jakub Piotrowski and Alessandro Nunziante attending the event from 18:00 to 19:00 on Friday to take pictures and sign autographs.
