Martin Payero admitted that Udinese weren't incisive enough after they suffered defeat at the hands of Hellas Verona on Saturday afternoon.
“We played really well in terms of possession but we came up short in the final third, where we needed to be more creative. It was a strange game but that's football. We need to keep growing and improving.
“We always look forward and try to do our best in every game to get the three points. It felt like a strange match today but we have to move on.
“I always try to give everything I can to help the team in every way. We played well but were lacking in attack. We didn't have [Florian] Thauvin today and he's an important player for us. We prepared well for the game but that's how it turned out today. We must look forward now.”
