Pisa 0-1 Udinese

The second away match of the season ended in victory for Udinese on Sunday afternoon. Iker Bravo sealed the deal with his goal in the 14th minute, but the lads kept up the fight until the end.

 

Pisa had a very early chance through Henrik Meister, but he ultimately failed to hit the target. From then on Udinese controlled much of the game with Keinan Davis finding some space in the tenth minute but unfortunately hitting the side of the net.

 

Udinese took the lead after around 15 minutes with a powerful strike from Bravo. Immediately after, Davis came close to doubling Udinese's lead but he couldn’t quite get his shot on target.

Pisa had another chance at the 30-minute mark when Stefano Moreo regained possession and fired the ball over the net. Ebenezer Akinsanmiro also had a go from distance but Razvan Sava was there to deny him.

 

The first chance of the second half also fell to the hosts with a header from Medhi Leris that flew over the crossbar.

 

Pisa tried again with Matteo Tramoni but Sava was there to make a comfortable save, the same thing happening with Antonio Caracciolo.

 

In the final few minutes, Thomas Kristensen made an extremely important save to block Meister. The win is Udinese’s second victory in a row and takes them to third place in the table on seven points.
