Udinese’s last match against Pisa dates back to May 1992 (0-1 win in Tuscany, Serie B) and their last Serie A match was in February 1986 (0-0, in Pisa). Udinese’s history against Pisa in Serie A includes one win and five draws, three of which were in the matches Udinese played in Pisa. If one considers all their matches throughout the years at the Cetilar Arena, Udinese has collected a total of three wins, six draws and four losses.

The Bianconeri started this season with one draw and one win, something they have accomplished three times over the past five years. If they do not lose to Pisa, this will be their eighth start of the season with a three-match unbeaten streak in Udinese history. It would also be the second season in a row that they accomplished this. Moreover, if Udinese win, this would be the second season ever that the team collected two wins in their first two away matches (the other time this happened was in the 1996/97 season).

Udinese and Pisa are in second and first place respectively when it comes to aerial duels won in the first two matchdays of the season (45 and 51) and in eighth and fifth place respectively in terms of duels won (51.8% and 53.5%). The Bianconeri have also collected an average of five shots on target per match, with only Juventus and Milan ahead of them. Moreover, they are the only team with a comeback victory – the one in San Siro – at the start of this Serie A season.

During Udinese’s last match, Keinan Davis scored his fifth goal for Udinese. If he scores another one, or serves an assist, he will match his goals and assists from last season. Sandi Lovric is just one goal away from reaching double digits for Udinese in all competitions. Three former Udinese footballers currently play for Pisa: Juan Cuadrado, 24 appearances for Udinese from 2009 to 2011, and goalkeepers Simone Scuffet – who grew up in our youth teams and collected 49 appearances from 2013 to 2021 – and Nicolas Andrade, five appearances from 2018 to 2021. Daniele Padelli, the only former Pisa player who now plays for Udinese, is currently injured. He collected eight appearances for Pisa in the 2007/08 season.
