Kosta Runjaic was left to rue two dropped points after Udinese failed to find a second goal against Cagliari, despite fashioning a host of chances.

“There was only one team that deserved to win today so we're very disappointed,” he explained in the wake of Sunday's match at Bluenergy Stadium.

“After they scored we did all the attacking – in the first half too, when their keeper made several saves. We had lots of chances in the second half. It's incredible really but that's football for you.”

The coach then commented on the contribution of Christian Kabasele, who came in for Thomas Kristensen.

“Kristensen unfortunately got injured yesterday but I had no doubt Kabasele was ready. We know we can always count on him. He's an experienced, mature player. I'm happy he scored. He was overjoyed after the goal. He's a great team-mate to have and fantastic guy, a real joy to work with.”
