At the end of an excellent performance capped by victory at San Siro, coach Kosta Runjaic shared his thoughts on the match:
“You can’t come to San Siro and play only passively. We couldn’t defend for 90 minutes, so we wanted to play with courage, press and keep the ball. We also scored two great goals. In the second half I knew we would have to dig deep, but we defended all together and did it well.
“As for Arthur Atta, we talk every day. Last year was an adaptation period for him. Now he must be more present in the attacking phase and start scoring. He has the potential to become a great midfielder.
“We have only a few hours left in the transfer window and there are people at the club working very hard on that. We’ll see what the future brings.”
