Oumar Solet says Udinese mustn't settle on their laurels after they won topsy-turvy game against Venezia.

The centre-back proved pivotal at the other end of the pitch as it was his mazy run and pass that set up Iker Bravo for the goal that made it 3-2.

"We really wanted the three points today and we were determined to give it our all,” the Frenchman explained. “The boss told us to be aggressive and we did that. We pushed hard in the second half – that's the way we should play. We're happy with the win but we can do better, especially on set-pieces. We'll work hard to improve those things.

“As I said before kick-off, I really wanted to win this game. When they got it back to 2-2 I was really angry and wanted to do everything I could to help the team. It went well in the end today but hopefully things will go even better in future. We want to improve with every match and climb the table.

“I'm enjoying life in Serie A and I'm trying to perform at my best in every game. I've come here to improve and to show what I'm capable of. I play every game as if it were the last. I want to give everything I have for this club and for the people who decided to give me this chance.”
