Udinese are set to take on Hellas Verona for the 43rd time in Serie A on Monday evening, with previous head-to-heads reading W14, D16, L12.

When the teams have met in Udine (in all competitions), the home side has won 17 times, with 12 draws and seven defeats, but Verona won the most recent encounter: 1-0 at Bluenergy Stadium on 15 March 2025.

Udinese are embarking on their 31st consecutive season in the Italian top flight having finished the previous campaign in 12th place with 44 points. Verona ended the year with 37.

Last season, Kosta Runjaic's men began the season with a draw (1-1 versus Bologna). If they were to share the spoils with the visitors tomorrow, it would be the first time Udinese have drawn their opening-day fixture twice in a row since 2001/02 and 2002/03.

Last season's meeting at the Stadio Bentegodi (0-0) was Oumar Solet's Udinese debut. Since then he is the Serie A defender with the most attempted dribbles (25, the same as Spinazzola) and with the highest percentage of successful dribbles (83%).

Christian Kabasele has scored against Verona before, in a 3-3 draw in December 2023.

If he plays against Verona, Sandi Lovric will rack up his 110th appearance for Udinese, making him the Slovene with the second-most games for the club after Samir Handanovic.

Meanwhile former Udinese man Enzo Ebosse, now at Hellas, could feature against his former club.
