Tomorrow evening Udinese will face Palermo for the first time in over eight years: their last match dates back to 19 March 2017 (4-1 at Bluenergy Stadium). Their last Coppa Italia match was even longer ago, namely in the 2007/08 season, with a Round of 16 that ended 0-0 in Udine and 0-1 in Sicily. Udinese have played against Palermo 57 times, with a perfectly balanced record of 21 wins, 15 draws and 21 losses. When it comes to home matches, Udinese have collected 13 wins, nine draws and seven losses in a total of 29 matches.

Palermo are one of the five Serie B teams to have reached the Round of 32 of this year’s Coppa Italia and, like Udinese, they have reached the finals in the past (Udinese in 1922, Palermo in 1974, 1979 and 2011). If Udinese advance to the quarter finals, they will face Juventus in Turin in December.

Udinese’s Arthur Atta and Iker Bravo scored one goal each in the team’s first Coppa Italia match this year against Carrarese. With their goals in the Serie A league, they are currently Udinese’s top scorers with two goals each. The Spaniard, however, will not be playing as he has been called up by his national team for the U-20 World Cup. Finally, if Oumar Solet plays this match, he will reach 25 appearances for Udinese.
