Saturday's game will be the 50th meeting in Serie A between Udinese and Parma. So far the head-to-head record stands at 21 Parma wins, 17 Udinese victories and 11 draws. The last match between the two sides ended 3-2 to Udinese. The Zebrette are unbeaten in three games against Parma.

Udinese head into this match against the Emilians on a four-game unbeaten streak. If they were to extend this run to five games it would be the best since the 2023/24 season when Fabio Cannavaro was at the helm. If they were to win while keeping a clean sheet then it would be the first time Udinese have won three games in a row without conceding since April 2013.

So far in this Serie A season Udinese have scored nine headed goals, only behind Atalanta and Inter. The Nerazzurri are the only team to surpass Udinese for goals from corners - seven for Udinese, the same as Parma. Parma are second in Serie A (after Juventus) for goals scored on the counterattack – six - but so far this season Udinese have only conceded once in this manner.

For the first time in his career Lorenzo Lucca goes into a top-flight match in double figures for goals. His ten strikes have brought Udinese 13 points so far - no player in Serie A this season has contributed as much. Lucca scored one of his goals against Parma in the first meeting of the season, when his team-mate Florian Thauvin claimed his only brace in Serie A. Alexis Sanchez has also scored twice against Parma, back as an Inter player in March 2021, while Parma coach Cristian Chivu netted twice against Udinese during his playing days.
