Felipe Dal Bello appeared as a gust on Monday’s episode of Udinese Tonight. Read on to find out what he had to say:

“I know Gotti very well, as he was Donadoni’s assistant coach. I think he’s a very intelligent person. It’s not easy to manage a squad like the current Udinese one with so many potential starters, but also so many players not at 100%. I feel the injury to Pussetto really threw the team as he’s a complete forward. The coach has clearly managed the squad well and I haven’t seen any players complain about not playing. To the contrary, they’ve been as committed as everyone else. Credit to the coach for that.

“When Gotti was the assistant coach at Parma, he would watch from afar, analyse and sometimes he wouldn’t say anything. If you know him, you also know that when he doesn’t say anything, it still means something. Assistant coaches are always in close contact with the players and I got on well with him.

“It’s about respect and there’s no use shouting and causing scenes as some coaches do. Being coherent in terms of the choices that you make and what you say is what earns you the players’ respect.

“Dominissini only coached me for a short period of time, but he was a wonderful person. I’ve been left speechless ever since hearing the news of his passing. I send my best wishes to all his family.”
