With reference to observations made by ANAC (Italian National Anti-Corruption Authority) regarding the procedure for transferring the surface rights of the Stadio Friuli from the Municipality of Udine to Udinese Calcio for 99 years, the club wishes to state that – besides filing an appeal with the appropriate authorities – it is willing to leave Dacia Arena and request the early termination of the contract with the Municipality as a result of the allegations levied by ANAC. This decision follows the specious and repeated criticism Udinese Calcio has been subjected to in recent years.

In addition, the club shall request reimbursement of the sum of €48,530,000, equivalent to the costs of demolishing and reconstructing the facility.

At the same time, the club will seek to identify an alternative area for the construction of a new stadium, taking up the dossiers opened previously. One of the options being considered for the new facility is Pasian di Prato.
