While in attendance at the naming of the stadium in Pagnacco after Pietro Zampa, the club’s managing director Franco Collavino spoke to Udinese TV.

“Support from fans is key and being able to enjoy the final run-in at 100% capacity will provide further excitement. We’ll have lots of initiatives in place for our next game against Cagliari, so it’ll be important for us to get as many fans into the stadium as we can. We’ve got the AUC involved so that clubs can benefit from special conditions and therefore we really hope to have a decent crowd for the Cagliari game.

“So much has been done and so much more will be done to support the Ukrainian people. Udinese Calcio wants to stand out for its sensitivity regarding such matters. We’ve received a request from the Ukrainian Association of Football and within the football family, I think there’s a duty to help one another and to try to do your best to support people whose lives have been turned upside-down by war.”
