Udine, 8 October 2025 – Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, Bluenergy Group and Udinese Calcio: professionalism, sport, energy, community and sustainability are just some of the elements that these organisations share.
A day of sport, energy and great excitement brought together Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, Udinese Calcio and Bluenergy Group, as they took part in a special event held at Bluenergy Stadium in Udine.
The meeting was an opportunity for two important Italian sporting organisations to share ideas and collaborate. The two organisations both love competition and are tied to Bluenergy Group, as it is the main sponsor of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza and has the Udine stadium named after it. Bluenergy Stadium hosts Udinese Calcio’s home matches and is considered one of the best sporting facilities in Italy.
Players, staff and club representatives had the opportunity to meet, exchange experiences and celebrate their shared values of commitment, team spirit and determination. There was a lot of excitement throughout the event: smiles, selfies, swapping shirts and ball juggling on the pitchside with players from Udinese and Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, who switched roles: the volleyball players took a turn at football, while the footballers played some volleyball.
Two sporting worlds, football and volleyball, came together to convey a positive message about fair play, collaboration and working hard to win. The initiative confirms Bluenergy Group’s commitment to supporting sport as an instrument of social unity, growth and innovation, as it strengthens the bond between the communities of Piacenza and Udine. A strong signal that brings together two different sports that nevertheless share the same passion: passion for sport and the energy it can create among us.
Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza and Udinese Calcio thanked Bluenergy Group for the initiative and highlighted how important it is to have the support of partners who believe in the value of sport as an instrument to grow and be united.
The event ended with a visit to the stadium, one of the most modern in Europe, also in terms of emissions reduction, that features the new Solar Park project, a photovoltaic plant developed by Bluenergy Group and installed on the stadium roof.
HRISTO ZLATANOV (General Manager of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza): “We are very proud of being here as guests at Bluenergy Stadium. It is an honour for our team to visit such a modern facility that is a symbol for Italian sport. We share the same values as Bluenergy: energy, passion and commitment to the local area we operate in. This visit is an important moment of sharing and synergy between sporting organisations and companies that share values such as energy, passion and teamwork. To us this is an important opportunity to strengthen the bond between different sports and pass on a message of sharing and common growth to our athletes and fans. Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza firmly believes in the power of these partnerships, which are not limited to the pitch, but instead reach the community and the local area we operate in. We would like to thank Bluenergy Group and Udinese Calcio for welcoming us and allowing us to experience something that further strengthens the bond between sport, enterprise and fans. We hope that this meeting will be followed by other opportunities to work together and exchange ideas, as in our disciplines we are the symbols of professionalism, commitment, innovation and environmental attention.”
FRANCO COLLAVINO (Managing Director Udinese Calcio): “Udinese Calcio and Bluenergy Group share a synergy that is based on deep values, namely our passion for the sports we play, our relationship with the local areas we operate in and, most importantly, sustainability, are the priorities in what we do. Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza’s visit to Bluenergy Stadium is in fact proof that sport can be an effective tool to share positive social messages. It was an important evening, during which top volleyball and football players exchanged ideas and learned from one another, both at a technical and motivational level. Such experiences strengthen the relationship with Bluenergy Group and contribute to creating ties through the best practices of our two worlds.”
