Jaka Bijol shared his views on Udinese's performance after they slipped to a 4-0 defeat against AC Milan on Friday.
“We weren't careful enough, we weren't aggressive enough and we weren't focused enough – we fell short in lots of areas today,” the Slovene defender began.
“Now we must prepare well for the Torino game, which is going to be a six-pointer. We can't play like today.
“It's not because we've reached the 40-point mark – we've never thought about that. From the start of the season we weren't thinking about avoiding relegation. We have a team that can aim higher than that and we've shown as much, but in the last few games we haven't played as a team.
“Today we were disjointed in the second half. We lost our shape and conceded those goals. We needed to play man for man and track them better. Instead we lost them and they had lots of runners darting in behind. When you start the way we did [clashing with Thomas Kristensen], it's not a good sign. We need to communicate better in defence.
“We'll move on now and work even harder. We'll also have a bit of pressure that we perhaps didn't have the last few games. We must do well against Torino.”
