eSerie A TIM is back for a third season! Lega Serie A's official e-sports tournament – played on EA SPORTS FIFA 23 – was unveiled in the Dacia Arena Auditorium on Thursday evening, where the first edition of the Road Show was also held
Attending the evening were Udinese stars Gerard Deulofeu, Jean-Victor Makengo, Jaka Bijol and Lazar Samardzic, who faced off in a tournament and commented on their own FUT cards.
Tournament winner Samardzic joked: “Maybe I'm better at FIFA than I am in real life! In any case my FUT card will be even better next season – I promise.
Deulofeu's hunger for victory remains undiminished, whether it's a real pitch or a virtual one. “I always want to win.” he admitted.
Assessing his own FUT card, which is gold this year, he observed: “Physical and Defending are a bit low. We're really strong in those areas at Udinese. The other stats are ok. It's a very good card.”
Bijol and Makengo meanwhile promised to work hard to improve both on the pitch and their FIFA stats, and maybe join Deulofeu in obtaining the much sought-after gold card next season.
Samardzic then offered a few words on Saturday's game against Napoli.
“We work hard every day to win games and that doesn't change. We know it won't be easy as Napoli are excellent team. We'll have to be careful to keep tabs on [Victor] Osimhen. He's an exceptional striker.”
Deulofeu added: “We know we're going to be up against a great team – both in terms of how they play as a collective and the top-quality players they have, but we're a great team ourselves and I'm confident we can play well and come away with some points.”
