The upcoming match between Fiorentina and Udinese will be the 94th time the sides have faced each other in Serie A. The Tuscans have won 43 of these games while we’ve come out on top 23 times, with the other 27 ending all-square.

The last seven goals scored by Udinese in the league have come from different players: Beto, Lazar Samardzic, Nahuel Perez, Isaac Success, Sandi Lovric, Roberto Pereyra and  Adam Masina. Fiorentina’s last nine have also come from a vast variety of their squad: Riccardo Saponara, Gaetano Castrovilli, Dodo, Alfred Duncan, Christian Kouame, Aleksa Terzic, Nico Gonzalez, Jonathan Ikone and Cristiano Biraghi.

No Serie A sides have claimed more points (nine each) through goals scored in the last ten minutes of matches than Fiorentina and Udinese.

Sunday’s match could feature three of the top five Serie A defenders in terms of duels won. These players are Fabiano Parisi (216), Lucas Martínez Quarta (186), Destiny Udogie (177) and Rodrigo Becao (164).

Fiorentina midfielder Antonin Barák made his Serie A debut while playing for Udinese against SPAL on 27 August 2017. The Czech featured 50 times for the club, scoring seven goals.

Andrea Sottil has faced Vicenzo Italiano once as coach and overcame his side 1-0 in the reverse fixture this season. Italiano has never drawn against Udinese, winning twice and losing three times.

Lovric, Success and Destiny Udogie are one card away from suspension for Udinese, as are Antonin Barak, Giacomo Bonaventura, Ikone and Kouame for Fiorentina.
