The team were back to work on Monday – Ferragosto, a national holiday in Italy – having enjoyed a day off on Sunday following their league opener at San Siro.
The afternoon session began with activation work and a passing drill. After that, the squad was split into two and the players involved against AC Milan focused on recovery work while the others did high-tempo technical and tactical drills before finishing with a mini-match.
Tolgay Arslan completed the full session with his team-mates.
The team will train both morning and afternoon on Tuesday as they work towards next Saturday's home game against Salernitana.
