Roberto Pereyra hailed Udinese's attitude and squad strength after a convincing victory against Sampdoria.
The club captain got on the score sheet early doors before Adam Masina secured a 2-0 win at Dacia Arena.
“It was a match we wanted to win at all costs and we went out there with the right mentality from the off,” the 30-year-old said. “I'm pleased with my goal, especially as it helped us win.
“I always talk to the others on the pitch. I try to help them out in training too and teach them things. The youngsters listen and do theirbest to take it all on board.
“I'm sorry for my injured team-mates. We miss them as they're important for us. However, we still managed to show what we're about thanks to the alternatives we have and our fans' undying support.”
