Roberto Pereyra, who not only scored but provided an assist as Udinese thrashed Roma 4-0, was keen to express his delight for his team’s performance:
“We’re all happy because we played a blinder. We worked on this plan and we followed it to a tee. Talking is one thing but taking action is another, but today we showed what we were made of and that’s why we come away with three points.
“We’re aware of how important our fans are at driving us on. Their passion is our strength. We play for them and they reciprocate our efforts.
“While we work hard to prepare for these games, we fire ourselves up to carry our plans out. Teams, not players win games. There are no secrets to our success but we’re on the right track and we need to keep this up.”
