Nehuen Perez expressed his delight after a solid defensive display saw Udinese earn a point at Atalanta.
"We've sent out a message as a team. We all played really well but we have to keep it up, playing aggressively like today,” he began.
“It's a massive point because this is such a tough place to come. We knew it would be a battle today and we dealt with it very well. We all did our jobs. We're a great team but but we need to carry on working hard to build up our confidence.”
The 22-year-old went into the game after learning of his recall to the senior Argentina squad, having made his debut last September.
“I was happy to get the call-up and it gave me added incentive to do well today. It was my childhood dream and it will be great to join up with the Argentina squad again. I have to keep it up.”
