It was another impressive display from Lazar Samardzic as he came off the bench on Saturday against Napoli to put Udinese right back into the game. Despite his excellent late strike, Udinese couldn’t quite complete the comeback, with the game ending 3-2 to the Azzurri. The German midfielder thought the performance was deserving of a draw. “We had lots of chances in the first half too. I’m happy with my goal, but I always want to help the team win and get points. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough today.”
Getting on the scoresheet again with a blistering effort, he shared the work that he puts in to this aspect of his game. “Ever since I was little, I’ve always practised my shooting twice a day. I also train at home.”
