Ilija Nestorovski cut an upbeat figure as he gave his thoughts on Udinese's 1-1 draw at Sassuolo on Saturday. "I'm happy because after almost a year I played 30 minutes in an important game," he said.
When asked about coach Gabriele Cioffi's praise for his performance, the forward added: "I thank the coach for his kind words – I always train as hard as I can and I've been waiting for my chance to play."
"I hope I helped the team get this point, which is important because we've not allowed Sassuolo to open up a gap," Nestorovski continued.
The Neroverdi remain three points ahead and the Macedonian underlined his team's end-of-season aim: "To get tenth spot, which has been our objective for the campaign."
