Andrea Sottil says Udinese are in the right frame of mind to face Cremonese after a hard week's work on the training ground.

The team travel to Cremona on Sunday afternoon looking to bounce back from last weekend's reverse at the hands of Torino, which brought an end to their nine-match unbeaten run.

“The lads are in great shape,” the coach explained at his press conference on the eve of the game. “They've worked really well this week, as they always have since the start of the season. They've all been determined and focused every day in training trying to improve. Mentally and physically it's been an excellent week. We're calm and we know what we have to do.

“One thing we mustn't do is underestimate this game but that's not something my team does. We've always respected our opponents and we'll respect Cremonese tomorrow. We have to keep things in perspective. We have the ability, the determination and the desire to cause problems for Cremonese but we know it won't be at all easy.”

The boss also commented on the fact that around 2000 Udinese fans are expected to make the journey across Italy to support their team.

“Our fans are incredible. They've shown not just a sense of belonging but also that they understand how important this game is. 2000 of them making the trip to Cremona to cheer on the team is incredible and I really appreciate it. I've always sung their praises because anyone can see how much Friulians love their team.

“That's another reason why we must produce a fantastic performance tomorrow and try to come away with a great result.”
