With Udinese’s unbeaten run coming to an end on Sunday against Torino, there was no hiding Isaac Success’s disappointment at the defeat. “We want to win every game. Today was tough. We had a couple of chances to draw the game level, but football can be like that. We must accept it and move on.

“Losing isn’t ever a problem when the team are playing like that. We’ll get past this result with hard work. There are always difficult periods, but we’re professionals and we must learn from our defeats and mistakes.”

There was some frustration during the match. “From the beginning of the season, they haven’t been whistling for fouls against me. We’ve not been very lucky with referees. I’m happy to play my part for the team and I’ll do whatever I can to improve, taking fouls to help my team-mates and making the most of the chances I get.”

Fellow Udinese striker Beto went close towards the end of the match but couldn’t quite find the back of the net to draw things level again. Success was sure his team-mate had done enough. “It was a good save from the goalkeeper. We thought that it was going in. He hit it perfectly. The team reacted well and that must spur us on into the next game.”
