Udinese forward Norberto Beto spoke to Udinese TV after the 1-1 stalemate at home to league-leaders AC Milan.
“I’m angry because we should’ve won today but conceded an equaliser at the end. We worked very hard coming into to this game and while I’m disappointed, I’m also confident because we showed we’re a real team tonight.
“Not much has changed under the new coach, but my team-mates and I are now stronger mentally and today we went out on to the pitch with one target, which was to win.
“Next up we’re facing two teams that are at our level and we can’t think about the Milan game when we take to the pitch. This match is in the past now and we’ll need something extra to win. We haven’t tasted victory since the game against Sassuolo and we have to rectify that because we’re not in a great situation, but I have confidence in my team-mates.
“Obviously, I always like scoring, but I also missed a chance in front of the goalkeeper and that shouldn’t happen. I played well today, but I always want to improve and focus on the next game.”
