Pablo Mari was born in Almussafes on 31 August 1993. He began his career at Mallorca's youth academy, where he made his first appearances for the second team in the Segunda Division B in the 2010/2011 season.

The following year he made his debut with first-team in La Liga.

In the summer of 2013, he moved to Gimnastic de Tarragona where he stayed at until 2016, becoming a regular in the starting line-up, making 97 appearances and registering six goals in three seasons in the Segunda Division, Segunda B and Copa del Rey.

In the 2016/2017 season he was bought by Manchester City who sent him on loan to Girona, also in the second division, where he played eight league games and one cup match.

He made his breakthrough in the 17/18 season when, again on loan from City, he moved to Holland to play for Nac Breda, making 31 league appearances and scoring three goals. The following year, City loaned him to Deportivo la Coruna in Spain, who started their season in the Segunda Division. In Galicia he showed his quality, playing 38 games and scoring two goals.

In 2019 Pablo decided to accept the offer from Flamengo. His experience in Brazil was successful as he lifted the 2019 Copa Libertadores and the Brasilerao, in which he was a hero and played in the Libertadores, the league and Club World Cup, a total of 30 games along with two goals. His international success was noticed by Arsenal who brought him to London where, in the last two and a half seasons, he made 22 appearances in the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League, registering one goal. He also won the 19/20 FA Cup with the Gunners in England.

Now he's ready to start his Udinese experience and will wear the number 22 shirt.
