Following the clash with Torino, Udinese midfielder Tolgay Arslan described the contest to Udinese TV.
“We weren’t at our best in the first 70 minutes. We then stepped things up, but didn’t manage to get a point. Luck wasn’t on our side.
“We didn’t play with character in the first half. We’re a good side with quality, but we only tried to play like Torino and copy their style.
“Everyone makes mistakes, but I think I’m a player with personality and character. When I get it wrong, I always try to make up for it, but I think the key factor in the game was the fact that our style was too similar to Torino’s.”
