Sebastien De Maio admitted he was gutted not to finish on the winning side despite an excellent first-half display against Bologna.
Speaking to Udinese TV after the 1-1 draw at Dacia Arena, the defender said: “We played well in the first half. We did everything right and took the lead.
“Bologna came out and got at us after the break because they were chasing the game and unfortunately we gave away a penalty that should never happen. We're gutted with the result again because of the way the game panned out.
“We'll keep pushing in our last three games because we want to finish in the best position we can. We weren't able to get the win we wanted today but we'll go to Napoli and look to pick something up there.
“I would have loved to score and it would have been great for the team too. I tried to give my all when I was called upon and I'll do the same in the coming games whenever I'm needed.”
